WICHITA - Horace W. Shaw, 81, class of 1940, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003.
He was born Aug. 11, 1922, in WaKeeney to Raymond James and Viola L. (Staatz) Shaw.
He was a retired Beechcraft worker and auto mechanic.
Other deceased members of the class of 1940 include James Mattern, Dr. Joseph Mattern, Virgil Martin, Don Gillespie, Mary Hartman Struble, and Raymond Houser.
GRAINFIELD - Richard E. Deges, 64, class of 1956, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.
Other deceased members of the class of 1956 include Alvin Denk, Thomas Gagnon, Donald E. Heinrich, and James Kaiser.
