Nylene M. (Vollbracht) Friesen, 77, class of 1953, died Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the Synder Care Center, Synder, Oklahoma. She was born February 25, 1934 in Grinnell, Kansas to Oren and Elsie (Sherman) Vollbracht.

Darlene Schwarzenberger, 75, class of 1955, was born to John & Christina (Kaiser) Dinkel. She passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011, in the Gove County Medial Center at Quinter, KS.  On April 26, 1955, Darlene married Frank Schwarzenberger in Grainfield.

Benedictus (Ben) Dinkel, 83, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011.  He was born in Grainfield, KS on March 21, 1928.

Lorne George Press, 92, class of 1937, was born June 11, 1918, on a farm west of Grainfield, KS, to John Walter and Martha Caroline (Fischer) Press.  He passed away, Monday, March 14, 2011, in the Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care at Quinter.

Ronald Anthony Heier, 69, class of 1959, passed away November 22, 2010 in the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Sacramento, CA.  Ron was born in Quinter, KS on March 11, 1941 to Anthony “Tony” and Marcella “Sally” (Schmidtberger) Heier.

Verna Louise Miller, 85, class of 1943, a longtime resident of Craig, CO, died Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the Sand Rock Ridge Care Center.  Verna was born on August 29, 1925, in Grainfield, KS, the daughter of Otto & Frances (Grecian) Katt.  Verna married Robert Miller on October 27, 1941.
